Acceptance of these terms
By accessing or using BoardScore, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the service. Our Privacy Policy explains how browser storage and optional third-party services are handled.
Description of the service
BoardScore provides free, browser-based utility tools for board games, card games, sports, classroom activities, and other tabletop or group activities. Tools include score counters, timers, dice rollers, randomizers, scoreboards, and tournament utilities. Features may change as the service is maintained.
Using the service
- The service is provided without a paid account or registration.
- You are responsible for the device, browser, and connection you use to access it.
- You are responsible for keeping any locally stored game data you want to retain.
- You must use the service lawfully and respect other users and the service infrastructure.
Prohibited use
You may not use the service to:
- Disrupt, overload, probe, or interfere with the service or its infrastructure
- Attempt unauthorized access to systems, accounts, or data
- Use automated access in a way that harms availability or circumvents reasonable limits
- Reverse engineer or redistribute BoardScore branding or original content without permission
- Violate applicable law or the rights of another person
Local data and data loss
Tool state is stored in your browser rather than backed up by BoardScore. Browser clearing, private browsing, device changes, browser sync settings, storage limits, or software failures may remove that state. You are responsible for any information you choose to keep locally, and BoardScore cannot restore data that is lost from your device.
Advertisements and optional services
The service may be supported by optional advertising and measurement services. Those services are loaded only after you grant the corresponding consent through the site's privacy controls. You can reject optional services or change your choice through thePrivacy Choices control in the footer. Advertising content is supplied by third parties; BoardScore does not guarantee that an advertisement is suitable for every user.
Intellectual property
Except where a third-party or open-source license applies, the BoardScore name, logo, visual identity, original written content, and site implementation belong to the service operator. These terms grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive right to use the tools for their intended purpose. They do not transfer ownership or grant permission to copy the site as a competing service.
Availability and disclaimers
The service and its tools are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not promise that every tool will be uninterrupted, error-free, available on every device, or suitable for a particular activity. Confirm important scores, timings, or tournament decisions independently when accuracy matters.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, BoardScore is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or data-loss damages resulting from or related to use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits rights or remedies that applicable law does not allow us to exclude.
Changes and termination
We may update, suspend, or discontinue part or all of the service, and we may revise these terms when the service changes. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised date. Your continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
