What Is BoardScore?
BoardScore is a suite of free, browser-based utilities built for tabletop gamers, board game enthusiasts, and anyone who needs quick tools for game night. Every tool runs locally in your browser — no server accounts, no app store downloads, and no personal data collected.
The project was born from a simple frustration: wanting a quick score counter or chess timer without downloading yet another app, creating yet another account, or dealing with intrusive ads that cover half the screen. BoardScore keeps things lean, private, and focused on the task at hand.

How It Works
BoardScore runs entirely in your browser. All game states, scores, and settings are saved to your device's local storage — nothing is ever sent to a server. This architecture means your data stays completely private and supported tools can continue working without a connection after load while required assets remain cached.
Simply open the site, pick a tool, and start playing. Whether you need to track scores for a card game, time moves in a chess match, or randomly pick who goes first, the tool loads instantly and is ready to use.
The site is also installable as a Progressive Web App (PWA). On mobile, tap "Add to Home Screen" in your browser menu for an app-like experience with its own icon and splash screen. On desktop, most browsers show an install prompt in the address bar.

We believe game tools should not require giving up your personal information.BoardScore has no login system and stores game data only on your device. Optional analytics and advertising are handled separately through the site's consent controls, and your game data never leaves your device.
